Oaxacal

A Oaxacan-student run weekly course and organization in UC Berkeley that seeks to preserve and promote the cultural / social roots of multi-identifying Oaxacan people. UC Berkeley should strive to create spaces that educate students on indigenous Oaxacan identity, culture, and history throughout the eight regions. The course motivates students to communally empower each other as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and future generations to preserve the indigeneity of our Oaxacan Indigenous roots. In addition to providing tools for allyship to students who wish to support Oaxacan communities in their efforts for anti-oppression work.
