Based in Luxembourg, the Obegi Group began as a relatively small family business in Aleppo at the dawn of the 20th Century. Today, the Obegi Group has become a conglomerate with a workforce that comprises over 2,200 people across 14 countries in 3 continents. Our early beginnings in the chemicals sector have now made the Obegi Chemical Group a market leader in the manufacture and supply of chemicals. By the same token, the Unifert Group holds an international market-leading position in the supply of fertilizers and other products made for the agricultural sector. The Obegi Consumer Products Group prides itself on the diversity of its portfolio, including joint ventures with world-renowned brand-builders like Henkel KGaA. A natural extension of our dominant position in the FMCG sector was to reinforce our logistical solutions, to a point where we are currently the Supply Chain Service of choice for brands like McDonald’s. Last but not least, we are proud of our uncompromising mentality when it comes to our core values, and that certainly applies to our Banking Services, known as BEMO, a bank that operates under three different forms: Banque BEMO Liban, BEMO Europe, and BEMO Securitization.
