Occcan Africa

Welcome to Africa Africa (Ocean Conservation & Climate Change Awareness Network in Africa) We are a passionate community dedicated to raising awareness of the critical nexus between climate change and ocean conservation. Our mission is to share our love for the ocean, particularly the Western Indian Ocean through the eyes of marine biologists, ocean scientists, marine educators, and fisheries officers, most of whom are actively working in the Western Indian Ocean region. Through their extensive knowledge and hands-on sea experience, our team is committed to sharing their profound love for the Indian Ocean and their tireless efforts to protect its fragile ecosystems. Join us in our journey to inspire change, promote sustainable practices, and ensure a brighter, more resilient future for our beloved Indian Ocean.
