Ocean Rich Resources (ORR) began its journey in 2020 as a tropical oyster farming company in Malaysia, gaining hands-on experience across farming, quality control, and market supply. In 2023, we launched OYSTER BOIS, our consumer-facing brand, to build awareness, trust, and demand for locally farmed tropical oysters. Today, ORR is evolving beyond farming. We are developing the MERBOK OYSTER HUB — envisioned as a fully integrated, vertical tropical oyster ecosystem, connecting upstream production, depuration, quality assurance, downstream distribution, and industry collaboration. By 2025, ORR is actively working with partners, stakeholders, and state-backed entities to validate this model through proof-of-concept projects and scalable infrastructure. Our long-term intent is clear: to position ORR as a central powerhouse and trusted offtaker for tropical oysters in Malaysia, with a future pathway to serve the ASEAN market. Driven by sustainability, food safety, and ecosystem-building, ORR focuses on creating long-term business value for farmers, partners, and the broader blue economy.
