Oconomowoc Silver Streak

Oconomowoc Silver Streak is a non-profit organization providing transportation to ambulatory seniors age 60+ and ambulatory disabled adults of any age in Oconomowoc. In 1991, Oconomowoc Silver Streak was established by a group of local citizens and businesses concerned with the lack of transportation services for local seniors and the disabled. Unlike larger communities, Oconomowoc has no taxi or bus service and they knew the value of helping maintain the autonomy of this underserved segment of our community. Over 25 years we have grown! In the early days when a call would come in drivers would jump up from their desks at work to pick up a client. Today, we are staffed with dedicated part time office employees, part-time drivers, and a fantastic group of volunteer dispatchers.
