Ocudel
OcuDel was set up as a spinout from Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) and is the culmination of 6 years of research carried out by Dr Fitzhenry and his team in WIT. Since 2012, Dr. Fitzhenry has led a research group in ocular drug delivery in WIT, securing funding of approximately €5.5 million for his work in this area. He is the coordinator and consortium leader of a €4 million MSCA-ETN project (ORBITAL) consisting of 24 international partners focusing on ocular drug delivery.
