Odangputik Art Space

Odangputik Art Space is an artist-run initiative that unites interdisciplinary artists and creatives to foster meaningful opportunities in the arts and design sectors, particularly through ceramics and art workshops. The studio is dedicated to building a supportive community and sustainable ecosystem for artists living in the Philippines. Key initiatives include:(1) Contribute to the decentralization of the Philippine Arts (2) Preserving local pottery traditions (3) Implement Salinlahi: Sining ng Komunidad, which promotes accessible spaces for art, emphasizing field research, community immersion, and community curation. Utilizing free ceramic-making trainings, wild clay exploration, and moving art exhibits as primary tools, the program also integrates artistic livelihood education and artist-in-residence opportunities to bridge cultures, innovation, and sustainability. What began as an online ceramic shop curating the functional ceramic works of Odangputik has now evolved into a community-based passion project spearheaded by founders Ianna “Odangputik” Engaño and Lin Bajala. The initiative is now supported by a skilled team with diverse backgrounds in the field of arts and social sciences.
