A properly positioned Atlas restores balance to the spine and has a positive domino effect on all bodily systems. This intricate relationship between the alignment of the Atlas (C1- the first vertebra of the spine) along with the Axis,(C-2) and the skull, profoundly impacts the function of the brain and spinal cord. This all starts at the brainstem that sits right above the Atlas and essentially acts as the main breaker switch for all brain to body communication. By focusing on the positioning of the atlas, we treat the root of the patient’s imbalance.
