The Grande Prairie Women's Residence Association (GPWRA) operates both Odyssey House and the new Serenity Place. For over 30 years Odyssey House has been serving Grande Prairie and the outlying communities, providing a safe haven for women and their children fleeing domestic-partner violence Our Vision: To help women and children break free from the cycle of violence. Our Mission: Encouraging the understanding that everyone has the right to live with dignity, safety, and equality. Serenity Place offers victims of domestic-partner violence a safe, affordable, and long-term place to live.
