Welcome to the Office for Digital Innovation! The Office for Digital Innovation (ODI) is the central coordination and advisory body for innovation and digitalisation in Liechtenstein. As a cross-sectional office within the Ministry of General Government Affairs and Finance, it operates at the intersection of government, economy, and society — with the aim of sustainably securing and strengthening Liechtenstein's future viability and competitiveness in the digital age. Additionally, it plays a key regulatory role by coordinating the adoption, implementation, and enforcement of EU digital legislation. Digitalisation and innovation now affect nearly all areas of government and society. As cross-cutting topics, they require coordinated interaction across departmental and sector boundaries. The ODI therefore works closely with other offices and departments, positioning itself as a team player and service provider. As the central coordination body, it ensures a holistic approach and the systematic implementation of Liechtenstein's digital and innovation agendas — strategically grounded, interdisciplinarily coordinated, and practically oriented. Its focus lies on strategic coordination, regulatory frameworks, and cross-sectoral implementation, networking, and representation.
