Officina Ciesse

Ciesse was born from the passion of a lathe turner and a mill operator, Canali and Schianchi. For 42 years we have been practicing the culture of precision mechanical components and we take care of them down to the smallest details. We offer a mix of chip removal technologies and additive manufacturing. Together, they allow to build components with geometries, dimensional tolerances and surface roughness that cannot be obtained with subtractive techniques only. In 2007 we bought an M2 by Concept Laser, thus becoming one of the first Italian companies to invest in the additive manufacturing sector. In 2016 we installed, first in Italy, an X Line the largest machine for ALM on the market. Active in the metal 3D printing sector for over 13 years, we offer to our customers solutions that maximize the results both from a technical and from a financial point of view. We have decades of experience in the automotive, racing, medical, packaging and aerospace sectors. We work for some of the largest manufacturing conglomerates in the world. Our quality control department, with more than 1,400 measuring instruments, guarantees the conformity of the batch upon delivery. We are an ISO 9001 certified company. We keep the machine fleet of our turning, milling and EDM departments constantly up to date (Mori Seiki, Makino, Stama, Hardinge). Our additive manufacturing department currently counts 6 installed machines: 1 X Line R, 4 M2 Cusing Series 5, 1 M1 Cusing, 2 M2 Cusing. Our metallurgical laboratory monitors the morphology, the granulometry, the fluidity of the powder batches in acceptance and in process to assure the compliance with the standards (ASTM and ISO) and with the customer specifications. We were born from the passion for mechanical components of our founders. We always look forward to understanding what we can do to make our customers happier. Nobody is perfect, but we work tirelessly to make our components perfect.
