Skills: Over 20 years of marine industry experience including company directorship, project management, project engineering, marine surveying and professional diving. Marine Operations management, Project Engineering and Diving experience working on subsea installation / repair / maintenance & inspection projects including: SCM changeouts, Riser, umbilical & jumper work, IRM procedures, Pipeline / Spoolpiece tie-ins, Trenching and Cable laying, Anode Installation, Scour protection / Remedial works etc. working on DSV’s, ROVSV’s and construction Barges. Wave Energy Converter Installation at EMEC. Offshore Windfarm installation, maintenance and inspection experience. Preparation of Operational Procedures; Task Plans; Hazard Id & Risk Assessments (HIRA’s); Design appraisals; Permit to Work systems; Report compilation; Materials take-off & procurement; Health & Safety; IMCA, ISO1400 & UKOOA operating standards; COABIS software. Experienced working/liaising at Consultant/Contractor/Sub-Contractor level. Subsea Operations management & Supervision experience, eg. Organising marine plant and supervising multiple teams of contractors on construction and inspection projects. Excellent communicator with proven supervisory skills. Comprehensive Computer skills. Hydrographic surveying experience, Port & Shipping Channel developments. In-water ship’s hull surveying & repairs for classification authorities, DNV, GL & ABS.
