Oglebay Institute

Oglebay Institute (OI) is a diverse, multidisciplinary nonprofit located in Wheeling, WV. Since 1930, the organization has remained committed to its mission: to foster appreciation, expression, and discovery by engaging people of all ages and abilities through exceptional programming in nature, history, dance, performing and visual arts. OI serves an annual audience of approximately individuals of all ages via recreational classes, school-based educational programs, camps, exhibits, plays, concerts and more! Oglebay Institute (OI) is a nationally unique nonprofit organization offering quality programming for lifelong learning with a multi-disciplinary approach. With five departments – environmental education, performing arts, dance, regional history interpretation and preservation, and visual and creative arts – it proud to offer the community at large a diverse schedule of high quality, accessible offerings that engage, educate, enlighten, and/or entertain.
