Our own journey with Oh-lief lead us to expand into contact manufacturing. Most of our contract manufacturing growth was based on our success of our own range, and the love of only using good pure raw ingredients to meet the standard of COSMOS. Our passion is to assist clients with developing and creating natural and organic ranges that follows the same philosophy.We strive in building a lasting business relationship with our clients, suppliers and staff. QUALITY STATEMENT Oh-lief is committed to producing high quality natural and organic product ranges on the international standards of COSMOS. The COSMOS-standard is owned and managed by a not-for-profit, international association registered in Belgium. They are proud of their independence, and standards! The COSMOS-standard applies to cosmetic products that are marketed as organic or natural. Oh-lief Manufacturing adhere strictly to GMP and have a strict procurement tracking system in place to document all necessary data before/ during / after production. The 1 sq. manufacturing plant is certified by SOIL Association, on the COSMOS standards, making it one of few COSMOS certified manufacturing plants globally. If a product range wishes to acquire natural or organic certifications by any COSMOS recognised body then Oh-lief’s manufacturing plant is already set up to support all COSMOS accreditations. The following accreditations can be achieved: – EU Certification – Product registration of product ranges exported to Europa, including the Master Dossier. – Natural / Organic Certification, by any COSMOS recognised body – Vegan Society Accreditations – Beauty without Cruelty – CANSA (Cancer Association of South Africa – Sun Care) Oh-lief assists their clients in all aspects of product development including formulation development, fine-tuning of existing formulations and upscaling or downscaling formulas for production. We have a cosmetic chemist on site with 23 years market experience.
