Ohara Corporation manufactures over 170 precision optical glasses/materials. Offerings include UV transmitting i-Line glasses, Radiation Resistant glasses, Low Absorption Fused Silica, Chalcogenide glasses and a variety of crystalline materials such as CaF2, BaF2, Germanium, Silicon Sapphire, etc. Plano-Plano Polished Substrates (to semiconductor quality). Materials can be supplied as block material or in other various value added forms such as Cut Blanks, Pressings, Large Molded Blanks, High Homogeneity Blanks, Polished Ball Lenses, and Polished Plano-Plano Substrates (excellent flatness/low surface roughness). Ohara also provides a host of other optical materials including glass ceramic substrates (WMS-15 & LICGC™), Fused Silica (standard and excimer grade), CaF2, BaF2, MgF2, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, Sapphire, Silicon, other UV & IR materials, Ohara ClearCeram-Z ultralow expansion glass (excellent CTE uniformity; large sizes), and NANOCERAM.
