Ol Gaboli is a community-owned safari lodge in Laikipia, Kenya — the only one of its kind run by a women’s group. Nestled by the Ewaso Nyiro River, we offer meaningful travel experiences that connect guests to wildlife, culture, and conservation. Every stay directly supports local livelihoods and helps protect one of Kenya’s most unique wild landscapes. The name Ol Gaboli means “the place of the fig tree” in Maasai—evoking a place of shelter, rootedness, and quiet significance. Fig trees have long marked important gathering places in Maasai tradition, and we carry that spirit into everything we offer: warm hospitality, thoughtful design, and a deep respect for the land. Our bandas—simple yet elegantly furnished—offer barefoot luxury and total immersion in nature.
