was founded in 2017 with a long-term mission: to build the machine equivalent of the “ ” — the layer that gives AI agents identity, memory, and agency. Years before “AI Agents” became a mainstream idea, our work focused on a deeper challenge: modern AI could generate and reason, but it could not be anyone. It lacked a stable sense of self — no continuity, no persistent decision patterns, no coherent internal state. Without those fundamentals, reliable agents were impossible. Our core product, —, provides this missing foundation. It gives every AI agent a persistent internal architecture: identity, memory, values, behavioural patterns, and an objective framework. This lets agents act coherently over time — not as stateless systems, but as consistent digital actors. On top of The Machine Brain, we’ve built, the platform for creating and deploying AI Agents powered by identity and agency. It transforms years of cognitive-systems research into a practical tool for real-world agent development.
