An Independent micro-brewery established in 1845 selling delicious traditional English real ales. A hidden gem found in the heart of Bury St Edmund's. With a history dating back to before the World War I, at The Old Cannon Brewery you will experience something totally unique. Many will know that at our core we have our celebrated in‑house brewed ales – genuinely loved by so many. But beyond that we are a Bury St Edmund's pub restaurant, without pretension or fuss, delivering truly delicious food, an amazing selection of wines, beers and spirits and an experience you won’t forget. Then of course there’s the option to stay! Our en-suite double & twin rooms each offer something a bit special. Our B&B's are built on what previously was the original brewery. We offer brewery tours onsite and provide wholesale beers to local shops and national suppliers. Something we've recently branched into to encourage and promote our traditional home brews. And last but not least, our beer garden! A new addition to the business, recently converted car park to beautiful beer garden. The garden is an important part of The Old Cannon Brewery, and it's something that has been really popular and loved by many - perfect place for a relaxed drink for all weather.
