Established over thirty years ago, Olenn & Penza, LLP has grown into the largest litigation firm in Kent County and among the top 20 largest in Rhode Island. Founding partners Renn Olenn and Joe Penza were classmates at Boston University law school and quickly learned that they shared the same values, high professional standards, and the goal of establishing their own litigation firm. They began practicing together in 1975 and by the early 1980's the first Olenn & Penza associate was hired. Now partners, Michael J. Colucci joined the firm in 1985, Holly R. Rao in 1988, followed by Michael T. Prew in 1994, and Martin K. DeMagistris in 2002. Olenn & Penza’s steady growth is due in large part to the firm’s philosophy of responsiveness, preparation, and adaptability, which has enabled the firm to expand both in size and in areas of practice.
