Olfactometric Laboratory Polimi

The Olfactometric Laboratory of the Polytechnic University of Milan is a reference point for the analysis of the odour impact, linking university research approach with the industrial needs. The innovation of research techniques, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of atmospheric dispersion has made the Laboratory a reference for the industrial world, institutions and the research field, also through participation in European Horizon2020 program. We deal with- Collection and analysis of odour samples by dynamic olfactometry - Assessment of the odour impact - Continuous monitoring of odours by electronic noses - Chemical analysis of odorous emissions By the experience gained in the analysis of odour, the Laboratory is working in in other sectors of great scientific interest, such as the medical-diagnostic the quality control of product development.
