What started as a craft-driven atelier naturally evolved into a full-service interior design and construction firm, seamlessly blending product design, architectural vision, and refined spatial experiences. Under the leadership of Juan Olarte, Olmo Estudio has grown into a multidisciplinary studio of architects, interior designers, and master craftspeople, recognized for creating luxury retail, hospitality, and residential spaces that are at once timeless, tactile, and deeply intentional. The studio’s work combines custom millwork, high-end finishes, and meticulous attention to detail, reflecting a design philosophy rooted in craft, material integrity, and emotional resonance. In 2025, Olmo Estudio was honored with the Lápiz de Acero award for interior design of a luxury retail shop for one of Colombia’s most prestigious brands, solidifying its position as a leader in high-end retail design. Beyond Colombia, the studio has delivered projects in Ecuador, Mexico City, across Colombia, and the United States, bringing its signature combination of artistry, craftsmanship, and design rigor to international clients and discerning brands.
