Olsen & Company was founded by Nic Olsen in 2021. Nic served his Articles of Clerkship at a top South African Law Firm in Durban where he trained specifically in fields of General Litigation, and Shipping and Logistics. Nic ‘cut his teeth’ as a commercial litigation attorney conducting most of his matters out of the High Court of South Africa. Aside from being a lawyer, Nic has been involved in the Music Business for over 20 years as both a performer and composer. Through his experience in the business, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and insight into the day-to-day struggles of the various role players in the industry. Nic not only advises on, negotiates, and drafts various music industry agreements, but he also assists his clients with day-to-day legal matters that fall outside of the business of music.
