Oma Communications was created to help people use today's technology. Our passion is teaching, and our focus is helping older adults use technology to communicate and connect with friends and family online. We offer individually tailored lessons to meet each learner's needs through small group and one-on-one classes. Follow up support is offered to ensure the learner feels confident and comfortable using the technology. Our teaching is completed through phone calls and video conferencing. This approach involves the older adult interacting with the screen by locating and clicking on the buttons to make the technology work. As they do, they are building the muscle memory it takes to successfully use the technology. Our goal is to make sure people of any age can successfully and confidently communicate online. This reduces isolation and increases confidence. Our patient teaching style and step-by-step lessons help people to enjoy the process of learning. We use today's technology, so older adults can simply use the devices in their own home with our patient, welcoming teachers walk them through every step.
