The true joy of cycling is not something you need a gadget to measure. The wind tells us how fast we’re going. Our hearts tells us how many feet we’re climbing. Our legs tell us how many miles we’re riding. And most importantly, our grins tell us how much fun we’re having. But there are good reasons to tally these things more quantitatively. And for us, placing a plastic-clad, distraction-filled, digital command center on our handlebars was at odds with the reasons we ride in the first place. So we set out to create a different kind of instrument. Something that didn’t simply measure the ride, but could make the ride measurably better — by tracking our rides with greater simplicity and less distraction, and by providing a deeper connection to the ride itself.
