OmniSource, LLC is one of North America’s largest metals recyclers, specializing in the collection, processing, and distribution of ferrous and nonferrous scrap. We operate 70+ facilities across the Midwest, Southeast, and Mid-Atlantic, supported by a robust logistics network of trucks, containers, railcars, and barges that extends our reach throughout North America. Our national brokerage and trading team connects metals buyers and sellers, providing market insights that optimize value. Founded in Fort Wayne, Indiana more than 65 years ago, Omni was acquired in 2007 by Steel Dynamics, Inc.(SDI) and continues to play a key role in SDI’s circular manufacturing model as a wholly owned subsidiary.
