Oms Australasia

OMS Australasia, part of the OMS Group in Italy, specialises in stand-alone and integrated end-of-line packaging systems and solutions including strapping, stretch and stretch hooding equipment, and related consumables. OMS Australasia was established in 2016 with the coming together of Live Industrial and OMS S.p.A. This collaboration was a strategic partnership designed to provide the Australian and New Zealand market with a direct line to a company that specialises in stand-alone and integrated end-of-line packaging systems and solutions. Established in 1949, and based near Milan, Italy, OMS has a long-established tradition of designing and manufacturing world class strapping, wrapping and hooding systems for end-of-line packaging of palletised products for all market sectors. Established in 2005, Live Industrial was created and directed by OMS Australasia's Managing Director, Dave Sparrow. Beginning his working life as an Electrical Mechanic, working in the plastics industry, Dave developed a passion for understanding, repairing and redesigning packaging equipment, in order to optimise their productivity and reduce mechanical downtime. Dave created Live Industrial to provide his customers with the highest possible level of service. With the growth of the business came its expansion into sales of strapping tools and machinery, which quickly lead to the exciting partnership with OMS S.p.A, and OMS Australasia being formed. OMS packaging equipment and end-of-line systems are used worldwide across a wide range of industries, including building products, cans and bottles, corrugated and paper, food and beverage, timber, hay baling, etc.
