Optical and Mechanical Works Ltd. Sofia was established in 1948 and it is the first optical factory in Bulgaria. It is located in the West Industrial Zone in Sofia and it occupies an area of approximately 24 m2. The production structure in the factory includes mechanical, optical, thermal, galvanic and assembly sections and a testing laboratory which forms absolutely complete cycle of production.There are highly qualified and experienced specialists in developing and manufacturing of devices with precision craftsmanship. For years Optical and Mechanical Works, Sofia LTD has been an established component supplier for turbine engines and deck equipment of "Rolls-Royce"company. In Optical and Mechanical Works, Sofia LTD is incorporated and consolidated management system in accordance with quality standart ISO 9001:2008. The policy of Optical and Mechanical Works, Sofia LTD is focused on preservation and development of high quality in production and sales of mechanical, optical-mechanical products, metal constructions etc. The main tasks of the management are: Precise realization of production activities for reaching high quality of the product; Expanding of the market share through gaining customers’ trust; Introduction of new technologies and technical solutions; Permanent improving of the professional qualification, communicative skills and professional ethics of the employees; Increasing profitability of the process.
