I’m a careers coach and teacher who loves helping people work through change, build confidence and skills, and create careers that fit. I bring focus, empathy, practical tools and real-world experience to help people get ahead in their careers – and get noticed. My offer includes: • 1:1 career coaching to help clients identify career goals and opportunities and share their stories • Outplacement and transition support for teams affected by change • Career development workshops to help clients take the next step • Teaching and mentoring to help people and teams build the skills that advance careers. I’ve coached 120+ clients, provided outplacement support for 100+ staff and trained 350+ adult learners. Employment and education are themes throughout my career. In roles at Auckland Airport, Tourism Holdings, Air New Zealand and Competenz I’ve supported job and skills hubs, provided outplacement support, promoted trades careers, recruited for large projects, and set up workplace mentoring programmes. I bring to my coaching practice real-world experience gained in multi-nationals, public companies, small and medium-sized businesses, charities and government organisations. I’ve worked in 11 industries including tourism, financial services, professional services, utilities, manufacturing, retail and education. With 20 years’ experience in senior communications and change management roles I’m well versed in helping people and organisations connect, build their brands, share their stories and adapt to change. And, yes, I’ve done the career hard yards myself. Redundancy, COVID-induced unemployment, career dead-ends. I've dealt with them all (and more!) and I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned.
