2010: Two months before the release of his life-changing 'No. 5 Collaborations Project', Ed Sheeran sports a Once Upon A Grime tee during an intimate gig for iluvlive, performing future classics to a room packed with music industry moguls. 2012: In the midst of a fruitful pop career, Roll Deep members and grime pioneers Wiley, Flowdan, Riko Dan and Manga Saint Hilare prove they're still in touch with their roots by premiering a brand new grime song,"F Off", exclusively via Once Upon A Grime. 2014: Once Upon A Grime celebrates its fifth anniversary with a radio set hosted by revered DJ Spooky on the legendary Déjà Vu FM. The show, due to feature twelve MCs, escalates into a fifty-man brawl for the mic, with hungry young lyricists including AJ Tracey and YGG making some of their first ever career-defining radio appearances on the night. Since 2009, Once Upon A Grime has been striving to catalogue a living, breathing archive of high-quality grime music, looking forward as well as back and helping spark landmark moments for the genre along the way.
