One Week Last Summer

This new collection features the most popular forms from my first collection and some new shapes too. I'm continuing with the modular theme because there's something inspiring to me about making 2 + 2 = 5 or more. It reminds me every day that we're all better humans when we stick together whatever the endeavour. Working with colour is a response to dark times - an expression of optimism - and reflects my deep seated belief that we're all capable of making the world a better place in even the smallest of ways. My concrete is now made exclusively with lime rather than cement. Its production is kinder to the environment in that over time the carbon dioxide released during its manufacture is gradually reabsorbed through a lifelong carbonation process. Just as this curing and strengthening process never stops, my pieces are timeless in their design and made to be loved forever.(Don't even get me started on the social, cultural, political, historical significance of stripes!)
