One World Strong Foundation

Founded by survivors of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, we are a growing international community of survivors and first responders who have overcome serious injury and psychological trauma to begin life anew. We know how vital it was for our own healing process to connect with others who have experienced similar forms of trauma. That’s why we want to be there for the survivors of future acts of hate and terror—wherever they might occur in the world. By sharing our own first-hand experiences and providing a unique perspective on how to move forward—especially in those first bewildering weeks and months—we hope to assist in the healing process of trauma survivors and their families.
