Nos Buscamos is a Chilean NGO that, since 2014, supports people born in Chile between 1970 and who are victims of illegal adoptions, searching for their biological families. Mission • Investigate and facilitate reunions, and restore the right to personal identity. • Work collaboratively with other organizations to raise awareness of child trafficking in Chile and to establish it as a historical and ongoing truth. • Support those affected and assist them in the search for their biological families. What do we do? Case registration at https://casos.nosbuscamos.org/Personas/registrar Documentary research (birth records, passports, testimonies) 🧬 DNA testing through international databases such as MyHeritage On-site work with a mobile office in regions such as Biobío and La Araucanía 🧠 Emotional and legal support for victims Accompaniment for adoptees returning to Chile Active involvement in judicial investigations and public awareness ⏳ Why is it urgent? Many mothers are now elderly. Each passing year may be a lost opportunity to reunite with their children. Our fight is against time, silence, and oblivion. What we seek is immense but straightforward: to repair, even in part, the harm caused to thousands of people whose rights were violated. 🤝 Nos Buscamos is not just an organization: it is a network of truth, justice, identity, and reunion.
