Built on almost 100 years of founder experience, Onyx Mechanical was born out of a need to rescue a troubled mechanical construction project at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital more than a decade ago. A “mechanical contracting 911” went out, and our leadership team answered the call, using their collective know-how to revive a project that was on the verge of flat-lining. Since then – and through over 400 projects and counting – Onyx Mechanical Ltd has built a unique business model that allows us to say to the client “when you come to us, we stand with you.” We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver complex projects AND de-risk them. As specialists, we don’t target every job that comes our way. Onyx’s success and growth came from a need in the industry to do things better, to break down the silos and work together in order to solve complex mechanical problems and provide accurate cost projections – and be accountable for them with one singular point of contact. We have solid relationships with other trade partners, providing cohesion and peace of mind throughout the entire process and across a broad spectrum of work and workplace circumstances.
