Led by Founder/CEO, Dr. LaNail R. Plummer, Onyx Therapy Group has served over clients since its 2013 inception, including consulting, coaching and federal contracting for government agencies, private businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions. With collectively over 50+ years of experience in Mental Health work and Education and Skill-based practice, Onyx’s team of counselors and consultants are dedicated to cultivating and strengthening the community through mental health and educational practices, including psychological theories, educational models, and culturally embracing experiences. In addition to serving communities directly, Onyx also uses its expertise to build up fellow counselors and mental health providers through various resources including their NBCC-approved Social and Cultural Foundations Continuing Education Program. With locations throughout Washington D.C, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and South Africa, Onyx is at the forefront of the Mental Health conversation with the team featured in everything from Forbes, NBC, Good Housekeeping, Washingtonian, and more.
