Oorvani Media, an independent local media firm promoted by Bangaloreans Subramaniam Vincent, Meera K and Ashwin Mahesh. Oorvani Media publishes Citizen Matters, and India Together, Citizen Matters, founded by Subramaniam and Meera, is a Bangalore focused, print and online citizen-oriented newsmagazine, covering city public affairs, community and culture. We publish pioneering journalism and are a platform for citizen engagement. Citizen Matters reporters have already won awards at local and international fora and the magazine itself was a Namma Bengaluru Awards finalist in 2010. As of Feb 2012, Citizen Matters has two print editions in South Bangalore running a total of copies, with a readership of to India Together, founded by Ashwin and Subramaniam, is a national public affairs e-magazine, covering Indian development in a deep-diving analytical format, with a progressive lens. India Together is also India's only reader-funded publication. IT and IT authors have won several awards. India Together's website counts over visitors each month.
