Opening Doors Dubuque

Opening Doors is a nonprofit in Dubuque, Iowa, dedicated to empowering women and children experiencing homelessness. Through goal setting and life skills training, we help them achieve self-sufficiency—offering a hand up, not a handout. Since we have served thousands through a continuum of care- Teresa Shelter – Emergency and extended stay programs - Maria House – Transitional housing for up to two years - Francis Apartments – Income-based affordable housing with support services Opening Doors is more than a place to sleep—we provide the tools and support for women to reclaim their independence and build a brighter future.
