Opera Ithaca

MISSION STATEMENT Opera Ithaca aims to bring professional opera to Ithaca, New York and the surrounding Finger Lakes region. Opera Ithaca will enrich the local arts community by providing a consistent venue for classical vocal music. Opera Ithaca will produce distinctive and highly theatrical productions of diverse operas, concerts, lectures, educational outreach and other special events. ABOUT US Opera Ithaca is Ithaca's brand new opera company. October 2014 will mark our first presentation. Opera Ithaca is a collaboration of local talent and resources under the leadership of Artistic Director, Lynn Craver and General Director, Zachary James. Zach and Lynn, Ithaca College alum and local residents, joined forces with the same goal of starting a professional opera company in Ithaca.
