Since she immigrated to Melbourne, Australia in 2004, she joined the corporate division of Robert James Lawyers practicing commercial and franchising law. In 2006 Hannelie joined Blake Dawson in their property division as a commercial property lawyer where she specialised in property and commercial leasing matters.
