Opportunity Music Project

The mission of Opportunity Music Project is to provide the highest caliber of tuition-free private music lessons, mentoring, chamber music, and community engagement to children from low-economic backgrounds so that they may achieve their fullest potential as both artists and leaders in society. Opportunity Music Project builds community connectivity, redistributes resources, provides positive recreational and educational activities for disadvantaged young people, and promotes good character and values such as artistic professionalism, commitment to excellence, respect, leadership, and advocacy. OMP directly serves 115 students and reaches hundreds of children, hospitalized patients, seniors, and special needs children through our student-led chamber music series.
