Our award-winning work spans architecture, neighborhood, and citywide scales and follows the principles of the Charter of the New Urbanism. This approach has earned national and international recognition, including a Gold Nugget Award and LEED-ND Phase 1 Certification for the Hercules Waterfront District; a CNU Charter Award for the Seaside Beachfront and Town Square Plan; and the L’Enfant Award for master planning work in Gabon, Africa. Opticos was among the first B Corporations in 2007 and one of California’s initial Benefit Corporations in 2012.
