Optimaize, a Swiss software company with its headquarters in Zürich and branch office in Cluj-Napoca, develops the global leading software for handling personal names. Our favorite tool, a continuously enriched graph database with millions of names, lies at the heart of all the webservices that we provide. We consider that data quality is a key success factor; therefore, our team works closely with native freelancers from around the world when researching the names of their culture. Together, we focus on developing two products: NamepediA, the world’s largest information platform about personal names, and NameAPI, a software which offers a toolbox of components in order to successfully identify and understand personal names. Its modules include name matcher, genderizer, parser, validator, and fake name detector. Optimaize serves international customers including software companies, financial and legal institutions, direct marketers, and media companies. It offers programming services for customizing and extending its software, implementing features by priority in order to meet the unique needs and requests of its customers.
