Optinosis’ AI-enabled technology uses existing claims data to detect who is at risk for ten types of solid tumor cancers including lung, breast, colorectal and prostate cancers. Earlier detection improves patient outcomes and lowers the overall cost of care. This provides value to three main stakeholders: Patients, whose life and longevity are improved when diseases are detected and treated earlier. Payers, especially payers with capitated revenue models such as Medicare Advantage plans, whose cost of care for the patient is lower when diseases are detected and treated earlier, whose revenue is extended when patients’ lives are extended, and whose risk-adjusted revenue is increased as certain diseases are diagnosed. Value-Based Care Providers whose capitated or shared savings revenue is increased when diseases are detected earlier.
