In 1958 Moderna laundry was established. Later on Moderna became operational under the brand “Omnidaim”. More recently we have changed our name into OPURO because we do a lot more than cleaning leather and suede (which means “daim” in Dutch). OPURO breathes freshness! O’ is a wink at the former name ‘Omnidaim’ and PURO is referring to our advanced ecological dry cleaning process. Already three generations long our family business in Merchtem near Brussels cleans, maintains and cares for apparel, home textiles and industrial textiles. OPURO makes the difference.
