Our Commitment to Space Sustainability Legislation At OrbitAM Aerospace, our mission extends beyond technical innovation to include a proactive role in shaping the policies that drive sustainable space practices. Mission: Enable sustainable space operations by leveraging additive manufacturing (AM) to transform collected space debris into valuable components through in-orbit servicing (IOS) and in-orbit manufacturing (IOM). By creating modular structures and tools directly in orbit from recycled materials, OrbitAM reduces the reliance on Earth-launched materials and supports long-term space sustainability. Core Objectives: Develop technology for capturing, processing, and repurposing space debris into usable components for IOS and IOM. Implement a sustainable, closed-loop system in orbit for debris collection, processing, and reuse to minimize the debris problem and support long-term space activities. Collaborate with international STM organizations to ensure operational compliance and contribute to sustainable space traffic management policies. Foundational Partnerships, Public Presence, and Program Readiness (0-6 Months) Objective: Establish a strong network of partners, build public awareness, and attract key talent for OrbitAM. Lay the groundwork for collaboration and efficient operations, leveraging strategic training and outreach for a streamlined transition into the program’s active phases.
