Orcawise® — Responsible AI Governance in Practice. Orcawise® works with regulated organisations deploying AI under regulatory, operational, and workforce pressure. Our focus is on operationalising Responsible AI governance where accountability, evidence, and oversight are required at board and executive level. Our core system is RAIMS™ (Responsible AI Management System). RAIMS is adopted by organisations to translate regulatory and standards requirements into day-to-day AI governance, workforce capability, and operational controls. It is applied across the AI lifecycle to support traceability, audit readiness, and executive oversight. RAIMS is aligned with: • ISO/IEC 42001 • NIST AI Risk Management Framework • EU AI Act It is designed to sit over existing technology, risk, and delivery stacks, complementing current tools. Orcawise delivers RAIMS through an integrated model: STANDARDS Governance frameworks aligned to regulation and international standards, adapted for organisational use. CREDENTIALS A role-based certification system used to build and verify AI capability across leadership, governance, delivery, and technical roles. IMPLEMENTATION Practical tools and artefacts used to embed governance into AI deployments, from pilots through scaled systems. What We Solve: Organisations deploying AI face recurring challenges: regulatory requirements that are difficult to apply in practice, fragmented ownership across teams, limited visibility into system use and change, audit and evidence gaps, and workforce capability constraints. RAIMS addresses these conditions by providing a single management layer that links standards, workforce capability, and operational controls. This supports clear accountability, maintained evidence across the AI lifecycle, and scalable AI deployment under regulatory scrutiny. Founded in 2016 as a spin-out from NovaUCD at University College Dublin, Orcawise works with enterprises and public bodies across Europe and North America.
