OUR LAWYERS Donald Orchard was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1962 and to the British Columbia Bar in 1973. He commenced practice in 1973 and established Orchard & Company in 1987. Brian McCutcheon was born in Vancouver but raised on a farm in Manitoba. He obtained his BA from the University of Manitoba, his PhD from the University of British Columbia and his LLB from the University of Victoria. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1980. Richard Friedrich obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina in 1989 before moving to Vancouver Island where he obtained his law degree at the University of Victoria in 1993. Cory Towriss was born and raised in Princeton, British Columbia but has been a Vancouver Island resident since 1989. Cory obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Vancouver Island University in 2003, and in 2008 she received her law degree from the University of Victoria.
