Orchestra, is in ancient Greek, the space for performances in which the polyphony of actors and choir enlivened the visitor’s experience. Orchestra defends the importance of creating conditions for the emergence of cultural commons in designing public spaces and public buildings. In an hyper-connected digital world, it might seem paradoxical to explore cultural, emotional, sociological connections within the physical environment. Yet, the question of how to live together - in French “faire société” - has never been so complex to answer, threatened by digital bubbles, social inequalities, over-control and globalisation.
