Order Fulfilment Experts didn’t start in a boardroom or a warehouse. It started with lived experience, hard lessons, and a deep respect for what it really takes to build a business. After leaving school at 16, I lived and worked in France, opening a satellite office for a UK manufacturer before moving into roles at the British Consulate in Lille and later French banking. From telesales to leading an international buyers division, I spent years navigating complex systems, high-stakes decisions, and cross-border logistics. Eventually, I stepped away to travel the world. And then life brought me home. When my dad became ill, I returned to Kent to help with a small private post office business. It was a crash course in small business reality. I invested everything, learned fast, and lost it all. But in that baptism by fire, something became obvious. Every day, home-based eCommerce businesses walked in carrying parcels, overwhelmed and underserved. The big fulfilment players weren’t interested. But I was. When the post office closed, Order Fulfilment Experts was born. We began by supporting home-based sellers and nomadic founders. Today, we increasingly partner with established, premises-based brands who are intentionally reducing overheads, stepping away from running warehouses, and redesigning their businesses to be more agile and less operationally heavy. At OFEX, we provide bespoke, high-touch fulfilment for ambitious, community-driven eCommerce brands. We’re quietly obsessive about service, deeply reliable, and intentionally selective about who we work with. We believe fulfilment shouldn’t consume a founder’s time or headspace. Done properly, it fades into the background and gives freedom back. We don’t just ship parcels.
