Ordinary Magic aims to help all children and young people in Solihull and Birmingham, harness the power of their own mental health. We support children with an understanding of innate mental health, help them create a strong sense of self, build resilience and empower them to use the magic inside and all around them to live healthy fulfilling lives. Each child who requires intervention will receive timely, effective services to meet their needs. We also support children by filling gaps in provision in statutory services for their mental health. Our teams- Connected Care Network (CCN): holistic triage & whole-family support - Roots & Wings: specialist family empowerment & IDVA-led domestic abuse support - Little Sparks: nurture, emotional literacy & wellbeing for primary-aged children - Ignite: skills, resilience & life tools for young people - Bloom & Grow (0–5s): early years, parenting & baby programmes - Thrive Tribe: community groups, SEND support, HAF, home-ed & inclusive activities - Therapeutic Services: trauma therapy, counselling, play therapy & bereavement support We provide services in schools and for community organisations including whole school wellbeing events, PHSE lessons, Holiday and after school enrichments, Early Intervention support groups, Training for teachers, Training for parents and one to one Psychotherapy sessions with BACP and UKCP registered therapists.
