Oregon Daily Emerald

The Oregon Daily Emerald Publishing Company, Inc.(ODE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public benefit corporation operating on the campus of the University of Oregon. Publishing a campus newspaper since 1900, the ODE was incorporated in 1971, at which time it became independent of the University. Since that time, the ODE has fulfilled its mission "to provide education and training for University of Oregon students in all aspects of journalism through production of an independent student newspaper."
